Mott MacDonald has a strong track record
contributing to energy developments around the world. Our
geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists manage varied
project inputs ranging from oil and gas developments, for example
Karachaganak in Khazakstan, to offshore wave energy projects at
Siadar in the Western Isles of Scotland.
We provide support to the design and construction of energy
projects evolving from initial feasibility including desk studies
and geomorphological assessments, ground investigation
implementation and on-site supervision of construction works.
We are proud of our ongoing achievements associated with
sustainable and renewable energy sources. These include assessment
and implementation of energy foundations for blue chip
developments, cooling of London Underground tunnels, design of wind
farm development foundations and associated ground instability
assessments.
