Mott MacDonald has leapt to fifth position in The Sunday Times
20 Best Big Companies to Work For 2009 survey. This is the third
year running that we have been in the top 20, improving our
position year by year.
Group chairman, Peter Wickens (right), is
presented with the Best Big Companies award at a gala celebration
at Battersea Evolution, London on 26 FebruaryEvery year
the competition becomes stiffer as more companies enter the survey
which has been described as the employers’ Oscars. It marks the
continuing success of Mott MacDonald’s commitment to its
employees.

This achievement marks the ongoing success of our drive to be the

We were compared with other major organisations with over 5000
employees across all market sectors – public, financial, travel,
retail and manufacturing – as well as our peers in professional
services.
The Big Five

The process, managed by independent researchers Best
Companies, involved employees being asked for their views on
working at Mott MacDonald. In addition, the company’s employment
policies, procedures and critical performance statistics were
evaluated to rate the company in terms of performance,
opportunities and work-life balance.
